I DREAM OF BEING AN IRONMAN

2.4 mile swim – 112 mile bike – 26.2 mile run

Welcome to my Ironostomy website. I’ve created this to help those who have a stoma to find new products to try, some reassurance or maybe a bit of motivation. My motivation was simply to get fit after my stoma surgery, so I cycled. Then I decided to learn to swim. Now I want to be an Ironman – probably the toughest endurance sport going.

For those who may be having to consider stoma surgery, I’m here to show you that you can have a quality of life and needn’t think surgery is going to stop you doing what you enjoy – whether it’s walking the dog, ski-ing, or just getting out and about.

Everyone is unique and will be seeking different things, but I hope that within these pages you will find some useful information.
